Needin' space and advice

Hey everyone!

As I've probably posted 42 times by now, I bought a 6' Semcycle. I can't
practice it at home (for obvious reasons) and I can't practice it outside.
There's no way to get onto the uni around my house, and it's snowing. I'd
really like to practice self mounting, but I have no space! I'm sure this
has happened to others. Do you just wait for spring?! I'm so frustrated! I
get an awesome Hannukah present and I can't use it. Also, two quick
questions on the self mount: one, when I step on the wheel, my foot pushes
on the chain... is this allright? Two, would it be easier to do if I lowered
the seat a couple of inches so my pants won't get caught? Thanks so much!
Really any advice on self mounting would be of great help.

Try it without pants…

Try to see if there is a gym at a nearby school or church or something that
would let you practice. I would think that most places wouldn’t have a problem
with that.

this should be allright. your not really on the wheel that long anyways.

lowering the seat makes mounting a bit easer but if the seat is too low it
becomes hard to ride. spandex bike shorts and tucking in the frount of your
shirt also help alot.

Good luck. I think the first time I freemounted a 6 footer was one of my coolest
experiences.
