Need suggestions for new license plate

We’ve purchased a second vehicle and have an opportunity to personalize our plate. I looked at the other license plate thread but need to be more specific. In Illinois, a vanity plate can be up to seven letters and requires an additional $94 fee so I think we’ll pass on that. The $14 fee for a personalized plate is more reasonable and can have the following:

3 letters, 4 numbers
4 letters, 3 numbers
5 letters, 2 numbers
6 letters, 1 number

Spaces are allowed but no special characters. No mixing of letters and numbers and the letters must come first.

Our first thought: UNIMAN 1, or maybe UNICYC1 with no space.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
The Edwards Bunch

Bruce. I hope I can help you and I understand what you mean.
Here in Australia we have 6 lettering. 3 letters & 3 Numbers.
I hope I can help with some of these.

UNIFAM1 (You have a Unicycling Family Right.)
YOOPER1 (Only a guess but I don’t think you like that one)
UNIJUG1 ( Means Unicycling & Juggling)
UNI 0099 ( The last four digit’s you can make that up yourself
but that’s my guest like mine; DJM 999)

Best of luck but I’ve run out. Goodluck Bruce and let me know what you get on your car. The licence plate that is.

David.

I have a couple of Unicycle plates at:

although most are juggling. The cool thing is that they are all from
Virginia.

David,

Thanks for the suggestions. You are correct, we are a unicycling family so I like the UNIFAM suggestion. Maybe I’ll try UNIFAM 4 since there are four of us. Of course, my first choice of all would be the YOOPER 1 plate but all the YOOPER # plates are being used in Illinois. Our other vehicle has a U.P. (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) related license plate.

Bruce

Bruce,

If you amortize the 94 bucks over a year, it’s not so bad.

Then you could do this:

UNI FMLY

would it be worth it?

or WE UNI 2

Good luck

Bruce. Glad I help. Thank you very much. I’m a Car Crazy man too beside’s also “crazy about unicycles.” UNIFAM 4 Sounds Great to me. best of luck Bruce & Family.

David.

You didn’t mention mixing the letters and numbers, so you probably can’t. Otherwise, how about:

UN1CYCL?

Sure he did, see?

The $14 fee for a personalized plate is more reasonable and can have the
following:

3 letters, 4 numbers
4 letters, 3 numbers
5 letters, 2 numbers
6 letters, 1 number

Spaces are allowed but no special characters. No mixing of letters [and
numbers] and letters must come first.

HARPER

I NO GREG
THE HARP
FRIEND OF HARPER (too many letters, sorry)

Are those OK, Bruce?

SOFAHRPR

In Ontario, we can have 8 letters

Here’s the plate we finally selected:

MYOTHERVEHICLEISABLUESHIFT

Ok. Now I work out putting some Images on Threads.
I Glad I took this Photo of my father’s Subaru Liberty sedan
(Legacy in U.S.) Rego licence plate. Only the front bumper you will see but I blacken the 3 Numbers. Next time I’ll take the Whole Photo of the car. We have three cars. 1994 Ford Falcon Futura Station Wagon, 1996 Subaru Liberty Sedan and a 1990 Ford Falcon Ute. (Pickup in U.S.) I wouldn’t mind the Ute but Dad’s going to sell it very soon.

David.

I have a couple Falcon’s… but they are 1964 and 1967. The name Falcon ended in 1970 in North America.

I have a few personal plates as well.

BEDFORD On my wall
JUGGLER On my Honda Civic
YA EH On my 1966 Dodge Van
CREEPY On my 1963 Corvette
GRUSIM On my 1964 Falcon
GHOUL On my 1967 Falcon
RU NEXT On a hearse !

The last 4 are Halloween related. I do a big display around my house at Halloween and scare the kids and adults.

I guess I will order UNICYCLE. I thought about it many times.

Plates in Canada were 110.00 when you could only get 6 numbers. They a 214.00 now that you can get 8.
