Need opinions on cameras that I might buy.

Hey all.
I was thinking of, at some point during the summer, buying a new camera. With the help of Brian, and Sam, and a few other friends, I’ve come to a somewhat conclusion on two cameras I’d like to buy. I went with Brian’s idea to try to buy a Mini HDV camera, instead of internal memory. He had also mentioned a slow motion camera to me.

So, anyone have any opinions/knowledge on these two cameras? I would really like to go slow motion, without losing HD too much. Please help, Thanks

Cameras:

casio EX F1 Slow Motion/High speed HD

Canon Hv-20 Mini DV High definition

Thanks!

Well I’m no expert, but I bet Brian O could help on this one!

I really want to hear opinions about this cameras, i need to change my Sony HC40 too :o

One is clearly a still camera and the other is primarily a video camera. Which type of image is more important to you? That’s your answer. Thanks for providing the choices; that was easy!

My two current cameras are also Casio and Canon. Both are great brands.

I dont know how many times by how many people you need to be assured that the canon hv20 is arguably the best consumer HD camcorder on the market. If you want miniDV, IMO, this camera can not be beat. Its not even a price point issue, which by the way is unbeatable. There are cameras twice as much as the hv20 that are not reviewed close to as highly as the 20.
