Hi i need help getting an idea for a short story,the story has to have a twist at the end,it can be in any genre.
so give me some ideas.

Do NOT write a story about a Mountain named Billy, who lived on royalty checks from posing for postcards. The Mountain was a draft dodger, and when he got his last royalty check delivered by a guy in a hot car, Billy got so excited he hacked up a boulder and totaled the hot car, then Billy and his wife Ethel the Tree (who lived on his shoulder) went to NYC!
How about writing about a man from papua, New Guinea who has never known “civilization.” He comes from a culture of Peace, where everyone is fed and taken care of by the tribe. He comes to civilization, where they draft him and teach him to kill using guns and bombs, then they send him to kill people using the guns and bombs, then, like about a third of Iraqi and Afghanistan USA war vets, he returns home with severe psychiatric disorders (google it!), because living so civilized for so long really gets to people.
How about a story about a high school kid who is in a punk band, and abuses drugs, and flips out on acid and never really “comes back.” But they keep him in the back ward of the psychiatric hospital, where he offers bits of wisdom about life in metaphors, and develops a cult of followers who break him out and FREE him, and start a farm in upstate where ever you are from, and his followers sell flowers and incense on the street and in the airport, and he writes books like (real book:) Everything I Know I learned on Acid

He gets an appearance on Oprah, and even hangs out at NAUCC and UNICON, where he displays mad skilz, taking home medals in every category. Eventually, his followers found MonoWheelism, and feel superior to those who worship PolyWheelistically.
