Need for Speed

Hello, I am new to unicycling (about a month) and have a question. I ride a 24"
Semcycle XL and want to know ways to pick up speed. I don’t mind riding slow but
when I try to go faster, the pedals move to fast. It’s like I need to change
gears, lol. Is there anyway I can get more distance per pedal revolution?

Re: Need for Speed

I understand the need for speed! What you need is a new unicycle:

If this is excessive, you might try shorter cranks on your 24" and lots of
riding to increase your comfort level at high rpms. It may seem unlikely after
only a month, but it is possible to sustain over 200rpm on a unicycle.
