I’m building a Muni course(not a trials course) and was wondering what I should put in it. I have plently of boulders, and a bunch of skinny’s, and an 8’ long north shore structure, and that’s it. Unfortunantly, I used 6 2 by 4’s to make skinny’s and now I have to take it down due to bad structural design. Anyway, what can I do to make the course better. It’s pretty much all downhill, and I have 2 by 4’s and plywood to work with. I want the course to be flowy(without stopping every to feet to hop over stuff) What should I build???
thanks,
-Miles
have ramps going up (and down, if you can) the boulders, in a way that you can flow up and over. Use logs maybe, with dirt to make sortof a ‘berm’ that you can roll over.
You can save space by having the trail twist a lot and having multiple trail routes.
ok, what can I build out of 2 by 4’s to make a skinny thats harday than a straight line? curving it would take alot of work:(
thanks for the idea forrest.
Make see-saws, they are fun. More north shore stuff too.
Yeah, see saws, and with 2X4’s just stick one end in the dirt, prop the other end on a stump or something to make a small drop off/skinny jump thing.
thanks. also, are skinny’s like this fun?

were you roll, hop to another, roll, then hop to another?
pretend the periods arn’t there.
Um, only if your pedals are lined up perfectly to jump it, otherwise it’s a pain to jump it right. You have to hop around. It might be fun once or twice.
I’ll try that then, with a bigger side hop gap. I’ll try to get the 2 by 4’s at a length so I do 1 rev in between.
