I understand there is probably a smaller street crowd at NAUCC in south dakota however this won’t stop me from organizing the first formal game. I notice on the schedule that first Sunday does not offer much for street riders. I would like to do this game then. Probably around 2 or 3 pm. All we need are riders, judges (about two or so for judging if the trick is legit enough), viewers, and music. The event will probably take place in the nearest parking lot in the area, or the gym if it is allowed. A crowd for watching this event is greatly wanted. We will keep it interesting.
Also for each succussful trick landed the next person in line gets two tries. However if the slate is clean each rider gets one chance to land their trick.
This way the game can last longer and levels the playing field a little more.
So just to clarify the game starts off lets say with three people, you, Kelly and I.
You do a trey flip, then Kelly and I have two tries to do it, Kelly does it first try and I fail miserably, then would it be your turn or someone elses turn to do the next trick.
Also assuming it is your turn still since you landed your trick, you would try a fifthflip but you don’t get it on your first try so then it moves on to be Kelly’s turn.
Kelly does a hickflip first try and then we each get two tries to do it.
Do I have the format right or did I mess something up?
Person who is starting it gets one try, if they succeed then the players get two tries, if the starter fails on their first try then one of the players then becomes the starter and they get to assign a new trick, which they have one try on.
Whenever a player fails a trick that has been completed by a started they get a letter. Once they have gotten three letters then they are out.
Yep man you got it, Awesome. You can either play it where everyone has to do the trick landed, or just the next person in line. Which I like the most. LIke if I hit a trick it goes to kelly, and he has two tries, if he misses it both times, he gets a letter, and the next person gets a clean slate. If he lands it in two tries, it goes to the next person with two tries to do the same trick. So the only way for a trick to stop moving around the circle is if someone misses it in both tries, or goes back to the person who started the trick. Then they get to go again with a new trick and one try. Ntappin will you be there? That would be really rad.
That is a really cool idea, it would certainly level the playing field a bit. I think it might make it take too long though. It would depend on the range of riders. If you have a decent group of great riders, it will get rid of the lower riders quickly but then be slower for the better riders.
Both have their ups and downs I guess. Still that is a really cool way of doing it that I have never heard of before.

I don’t think we need judges, I don’t think it will be questionable whether someone landed a trick or not. And if it is then I’m sure it won’t be hard to settle.
I think what he meant was we can all “act” as judges. I dont think there is a need for impartial judging here, as there are enough people we will be fair enough.
Say, if someone does a normal treflip, would it be ok for me to do one in-in. Or for me to do an outflip instead of a hickflip? I don’t know if it’s worthwhile for me to work on my regular tres and hicks and such for this game, what do you guys think? I could go either way.
