Nationals and Unicon

Just a reminder that NUC is July 20-23. Unicon is July 25-Aug. 2. Both are
being held in the Snoqualmie Valley in Washington State, USA

If a person could only (afford to) attend one, which would you recommend?

Think about it. Would you rather see the best riders in the country, or
the best riders in the world?

It’s kind of like a choice between the US championships in a sport, or
the Olympics.

Or, if your goal is to win medals, go to Nationals. Winning is much
tougher at UNICON!

David, there’s no question in my mind: Unicon! We’re in the same boat -
see you there.

UNICON is definately the one to be at if you can’t be at both. There is so
much more happening there, and this year the NUC will be condensed to only
have the bare minimum of the required events. UNICON has people from all
over the world and it’s fun to meet them and see what’s happening with
unicycling in different areas of the world. There’s also more time for the
“convention” part of the convention at a unicon.

Hey, nathan. See you there is right – my wife informed me that the NUC
conflicts with her quilting event anyway, so I had no choice; I’m glad
that I can make it to the biggie.

I hope Fiona (who will be 6) can ride a bit by then. My wife has
relearned.
