after watching some videos of the UNICON XI yesterday I tried a very special trick with the unicycle. Lean your body on the seat, und use your hands to pedaling…
Who has a name for that trick ? I need some tips for doing this skill…at the time I drive always backwards whith the Viscount into the “backward” direction. All the time I fall down from the unicycle after a few (3 or 4) pedal turns…
I think Guy Hansen calls it “hand pedaling?” Maybe hand cranking.
But there are different ways to do this. He uses his chest on the seat, but it might be possible in other positions as well. But I will suggest that the way Guy does it is the most basic way, and can be done with an unmodified unicycle. I’d call it hand pedaling or hand cranking.

Good point, pedants (like me! ;-)) should call it manualing.
hmm I dont think I would call it a manual, in the rest of the sporting world a manual is what we do all the time, ride on one wheel. or in skateboarding 1 truck.
I think I would call it more on the lines of a Handjob. Yeah I know the sexual conotation behind that. And yeah I still would call that trick that however non PC it may be.
