Chase
Hello! Lovely to meet you.
Thinking about it, I didn’t really introduce myself properly, my name’s Emily, I’ve only been a member since Saturday and I only got my unicycle yesterday so I can’t ride it yet but I have nearly two months of summer with nothing else to do except learn.
keep us posted on your progress
Will do…so far I can sit on it while holding onto my bed for support. And I think I’ve got my best friend interested in learning which was quite a surprise cos normally she responds to all my, what some might call ‘eccentric’ ideas, with the words “Emily don’t be a twat, you’re embarassing me.”
Thankyou!
How long have you been riding for?
me, mmm, about three and a bit years now i think
Hooray, someone else in the area! There’s a group of 6 of us who ride in & around Warwick regularly.
I agree, most people I know think I’m a nutter. Which is fine, cos I think they’re all boring & narrow minded.
Loose.
Hello to you all that haven’t introduced themselves.
Thinking about it, I didn’t really introduce myself properly either, My name is Justin. I have been a member for about two weeks.I have been riding for about 2 year now
Excellent, perhaps when can I actually ride in a not-certain-to-die manner, I can join you some time.
Crazy people make the best friends anyway.
Em
don’t put off joining them too long
if they get together and for general messing about in one general area (as opposed to going on a 30mile point to point ride) it’ll be well worth your while to do your initial wobblings in the company of unicyclists
there’s a certain ‘balance-magik’ in the air where two or more onewheelers gather
Yeah, cool. I’m off to university in october, so it’ll have to be before then, or maybe not until Christmas hols.
I agree totally, goup riding is a hell of a lot more fun than riding around on your own, and you learn a lot more much faster. I’m going on a long distance ride with a friend tonight, and I’ve never even contemplated doing one on my own yet (but thats probably cos the weathers been rubbish)
Loose.
Cool…well let me know when you’re next meeting up and if I can actually vaguely ride by then it’d be cool to meet some other unicyclists.
I’m back at university in October too anyway…which one are you at?
Em
