Re: My Unicycle.com christmas basket…

of your choices i only know the circus specials
those are good, solid clubs

on the budget side, mr babache have started manufacturing very respectable clubs at very reasonable prices
the company is owned and operated by a juggling-family

personally, i’m a ‘radical fish’ kinda guy
(freestyle)

i’m sure other juggling unicyclists will share their opinions on juggling clubs with u soon

merry xmas

try

i am not in to juggling diabolo’s yes but ball juggling i never will ever be able to do but i would look on airtime.uk.com as they are a circus shop local to me they sell great stuff and the guy really knows what he is talking about.

I haven’t got any clubs but at leasts Mr. Babache’ equipment is good quality. I have some bean bags and juggling balls and I like them. The bean bags seem to be indestructible. I also have a devil stick, which I believe to be Mr. Babache but don’t know for sure. It’s a torch one but I haven’t used the torches at the ends yet. I’m not even too much of a devil stick guy. I like juggling with balls a lot more, even though I haven’t done it too much lately. If you can, go to a shop that sells juggling equipment. Just like thinuniking said, they usually know what they are talking about. Still I know a lot more about juggling than the guy at the shop. And I’m not even a good juggler.

What do people think of Dube?

check out renagade.com (spelling?)
and jugglingthingies.homestead.com for balls

renagade clubs are quite durable thoe the knobs do tend to come off every once and a while and can be put back on with some shoe goo

Norid balls and hand made leather of different sizes also makes some chain mail ones

My favorit devil/flower sticks are crystelstix (spelling)

they have leather ends and are made of fiber glass coated with surgical rubber and are garented for life and come in all kinds of colors

Idont have realy any experience with dioblos but the people at my juggling club use renagade also

there are some lighted balls that are cheep if you would like the address for them say so ill have to find it hehehe

My 3 pennies

airtime.uk.com cheers thinuniking i will check them out

for dube products. they make excellent juggling equipment, however the clubs are pricey ($35.00 per)… and not as heavy as they used to make them 9 years ago… also make “airflite” clubs ($13.00 per) which are unibody plastic

for renegade products. they make excellent clubs ($25.00 per) with 5 different widths to choose from and all variety of options to customize (but if I were you, I’d buy 3 95mm clubs with long handles) they also carry their “spotlight” ($8.00 per) clubs which are solid body plastic and have about the same feel (weightwise) as their other clubs.

Further, while Beard makes nice looking clubs, I don’t fancy the weight too much. The clubs are much too light for serious passing and if the renegade clubs are in your price range I’d definetley buy renegades instead, because their customer service and options rock hard!

notice

i do not know if you ever look at stuff but notice she is in the uk so u.s sites are a bit usless

yes, but you see, Renegade has such great customer service that they will ship internationally, as will Dube, so unless you’re up in arms about paying shipping and duties and would rather not pay and buy products that may not last or suit the style of juggling that you do, there’s no reason not to buy clubs or any other juggling prop that you want or need from either of them.

Well, yes… there’s not much point getting something from the other side of the pond when there’s a perfectly good range here.

Incidentally, Butterfingers is in Newton Abbott in Devon, so they might be worth a look.

Phil

or, you know, if you want REALLY, REALLY COOL juggling products, you could look at Aerotech Projects and to see their products in use, you can check out Feeding the Fish

i am with phil

what is the point in spending £50 on postage on stuff from the usa when we have better stuff here and it is most likely make in china or someback street some where any way .i personaly think unicycle.uk.com has better uni’s than it’s u.s buddy. keep up the good work rodger.
