My new job

Just wanted to post to say that I started my new job last Monday. It’s
been extremely crazy and I will be very busy for quite some time, but
I’m loving every minute of it.

Knowing that the success or failure of this project is directly
dependent upon me (and my two co-workers) is stressful, but also very
motivating. I think we really have a chance to produce a successful
software project, and I think we’re on the right track to doing so.

A couple of interesting things to note:

We’re currently working closely with a “user experience” company to help
us define a prototype for our product. During the past two weeks (and
next two weeks), they have provided us with office space in their
offices. Their office is on the top two floors of one of the tallest
buildings in Philadelphia, right across the street from City Hall.

From my desk, I have a beautiful view of the city. You can see the
pictures at http://www.webdiscuss.com/photos/album01

Also, they are currently subletting thier second floor to the production
team of the TV show “Hack”. The actors don’t come into the offices, but
they are shooting on the streets downtown (they were filming today).
