I just finished a refit of my very first uni (a kris holm 29, bought back in 2009). I haven’t been riding at all, but lately I’ve had the itch. Well it’s more guilt than itch. I’ve been riding one of those electric wheel things and every few days I’ll whiz by some legit uni rider going in the opposite direction… time to show a little solidarity.
Anyway, I busted out the old 29, put on a new/old seat, a shiny new t-bar, a clamp from another uni and slapped the original Big Apple back on. After a minor repair and little cleaning she’s ready to go!
