After a maximum of 5 years I plan to have:
- A really good 24" custom unicycle (see signature for details)
- Coker
- 6’ Giraffe
- Home-made stilts
- Pogo stick
- Mini bike
After a maximum of 5 years I plan to have:
Cor. I don’t plan anywhere near that far in advance… I’m an impulse buyer.
Phil, just me
i’m right with u on the impulse buying
it is however nice to have an impulse list to refer to when an opportunity presents itself
I agree with Gild, but i am somewhat planning to have these unis in the future. Remember, these are IDEAL
What i have now
Yuni 24 inch muni, Next step is to upgrade it, and make it a machine.
What i want(in order)
Onza trials uni
Coker
Freestyle uni
Giraffe 5 or 6
This wil probably take a long time to aquire, and this is just a wish list. This covers all areas of unicycling too, although i skipped 26 and 28.
Let’s keep in mind that there is an issue of money here. I can’t buy on impulse if I don’t have the money to buy it with. Therefore while I’m saving up the money, I make lists like these:)
FOOL! Buy the Coker first -then you can change the above to read ‘Therefore, I only rob banks at the top of a hill.’

pogo sticks and mini bikes are fun…
i have a nice pogo stick… and a pretty good mini bike… the pogo stick is a razor gogo if memory serves. i ahve had no probs with it as of yet. ive had it for a few months and it seems solid. apparenlty it will take 175lbs, and im 110, so this is not a porblem.
My mini bike is a huffy monkey bike, the hear no evil model. i like it too. rode it around the parking lot at the canadian tire and got some weird looks. quite fun. definitely get the mini bike and pogo stick, that is, after getting some tricked out unis. unicycles are still the most fun.
Have you got any photos of the mini bike? If so could you please post one? Also, have you ever done any trials or mountain pogo-sticking? I’ve always wanted to give that a go.
I’m leaning towards having something that’s a nice olive color, with a red seat.
Sorry to sound stupid but is olive light green or dark green? I think if I got the green for my frame (which I probably won’t) it’d be a lightish, bright, metallic green.
I prefer black olives myself. Most of the olives on sale here seem to be a rather pasty looking gang green colour lately.
Olive green is a darker green that is the colour of camo green.
pogo stuff and mini bike pic
ive never done any real trials stuff, but I have done a bit of hopping onto stuff and then off (is that trials?). i find with my pogo stick and my kinda small weight (110lbs isnt all that heavy i think), i can do jumps of almost 3 feet high. I use a razor gogo, i cant remember if i said that in my other post. anyhoo, i do mostly freestyle stuff, like riding with one foot, riding with no hands, one hand, etc… ppl watching always get a kick out of the no handed pogo stuff. ok, im gonna post the pics now. behold!
i guess my posts are a bit off topic, but oh well
by mini bike, i assume you meant those little bicycles with the 6-ionch wheels and such, and i just happen to have one, so heres a pic of me riding it kinda.
Looks fun! What about those really tiny minibikes? The ones that are about a quarter the size of that one? Can you buy them?
Andrew
Our juggling club has one of those minibikes. It has a sticker on the side saying “Onza”… I’m not entirely sure it’s telling the truth…
Phil, just me
Leo on www.unicycle.net rides one of those. Just go to Minibike. I don’t know where you buy them, though.
Nikki
i got my mini bike and pogo stick both at Canadian Tire, although that may not help people that dont live in Canada, or have a Canadian Tire nearby. Canadian Tire is my friend. the bike was $50 CDN and the pogo stick was around $100 CDN. that pogo stick is a riot. all i can say is dont use it on grass. leaves massive holes in your lawn. (or someone else’s, heh heh). and you can jump 3 feet into the air on those things… at least i can.
PS those mini bikes are not meant to be ridden that much, they are not bikes, but little novely ridables. (is that not the same thing, you ask.) but they are not bikes… they are something else… er, well whatever. i tried.
Hey someone mentioned my name…
Yes indeed I have a mini-bike, the one I have you can find at http://www.semcycle.com/specialty.html#minibike
This one cost a lot but is not expensive. It is very strong, and of all mini-bikes it looks the most like a “big” bicycle.
the binary brigade have been trying for years but finally, leo, u’ve lost me…
