My 2nd Juggling Video

Hey everybody, this is my 2nd juggling video. My camera can only record 1 and 1/2 minute clips. In most of these I could have easily gone longer. It might be a little boring but tell me what you think! My 5 ball is almost solid now and I’ll make a new video just for 5 ball. A lot of the stuff I can do isn’t in this video either.

Tell me what you think!

great three ball tricks. your five ball pattern is looking ok, but your balls don’t always change hands like there supposed to. a good way to help fix this would be to go back to working on flashes and start with three balls of one color and then two of a different, so that you have three of the same in your dominant hand and 2 of the same in your non dominant hand. work on flashing and be sure that the balls that start in your right hand end up in your left and the balls that start in your right end up in your left. be sure that you can successfully flash them every time and then just start adding single throws. once you can qualify it every time you try then start trying to keep it going as long as you can.

Thank you unirox13.

And yes, I’ve been working on 5 ball flashes and can do them pretty consistently now. The video was after only about 2 hrs. of 5 ball practice. I’m a lot better at it now.

awesome i can’t wait to see some of your five ball stuff.

p.s. i may steal your video and post idea and start making a few simple juggling videos myself

Good. When I started juggling there was no internet, youtube, or easy way to learn tricks other than reading books, meeting people, going to juggling club meetings and conventions. You certainly are flourishing juggling. Your tosses are very consistent (for the most part) and you are much more advanced than I was at your age. I would suggest working on controlling your pattern at different heights with balls and especially with clubs, because when you start juggling with other people for passing the timing of your self patterns has to match, and it’s much easier if you can juggle at different heights and different speeds - slower is better.

Great video, BTW.

My wife and I run a juggling club in Denver at the Wizard’s Chest in Cherry Creek every Saturday from 12:00 - 2:00 where we teach people to juggle and work on our own juggling, mainly club passing. If you live in the Denver area, it would be great to see another juggler come out to our meeting. We also unicycle (obviously) and do various other circus disciplines.

Matt.

Yes, without YouTube I wouldn’t have been able to learn most of my tricks. Thank you for the nice comments I really appreciate them, and I will definatley take your advice Hopeful.

Your juggling club sounds fantastic. I live about 45 minutes from Denver and I’ve been looking to join a club. I might show up there sometime. I’d definatley enjoy learning how to pass and get an excuse to actually ride my unicycle. =)
