My 1st post...

… and it’s a rant!

Have only been unicycling for about 2 months now, and am absolutely loving it! I have been all over different terrain types, and have come across many people who wanted to know more about unicycling. Most people who stop you and talk are really nice people. But there’s always some t*** who has to do something different.

I went out today, straight after returning from work (3pm), and at 3pm, the kids are usually leaving school. Now, over the road from me, I have the biggest school in the whole of my town. This obviously means there’s loads of kids flooding out when the school shuts at 3pm.

Now, I have been riding with no problems at all this time of the day for a few weeks. But today was different. I came across a group of kids (10-12 of them), and as I approached I heard one shout “Dare you to push him off”. Anyway, one of them did push me off. Luckily, because I knew it was going to happen I was prepared and managed to get my feet down in time.

Only after pushing me off, did he realise that I was Mush bigger than he thought. He was only about 5ft, and I’m 6’4. I stodd right up to him and then slung him on the floor and asked him how he liked being pushed over. At this point he was in tears, probably fearing that I was going to do more to him. But I’m not like that.

I’ve had other people shout abuse too, the best ‘insult’ being “You’re a faggot”.

But apart from that, I love unicycling!

Right, About me:

My name’s Jamie, I’m 18 and come from Milton Keynes, England. I’m a CNC Lathe Engineer, and get paid loads of money for doing hardly anything :). I’m an avid computer gamer too.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

All the best,

Jamie

Ps. Sorry for rambling on!:stuck_out_tongue:

hey!

Hey im Aimee, welcome to the site, and im from the UK as well so thats always a nice thing

I would of punched him in the face, but you handled nicely.

I felt that if I had punched him/ kicked the living s*** out of him, it would have given a bad reputation to unicyclists. At least, that was my excuse. :stuck_out_tongue:

hi, i´m Aina and from germany…
your story is really hard, but so are little childs. don´t know what to do or just wanting to have fun => they become ideas like that => if they said the idea they have to make it come real that the others don´t think they are loosers…
i hope you have fun in here, maybe we´ll talk to each other anytime

Welcome to the forums.

Lol, are we unicyclists when we are not on unicycles?

You mentioned gaming, what platform would that be?

PC Gaming my man.

Yep!

Hi Jamie! Welcome to the forum. Hopefully I’ll see you riding one day… once I can get out further than clacton lol.

and Aimee… where in Essex are you?

Aah. Im one for the 360, not really looked into any PC games.

i only play PC games from www.killsometime.com, and tanks… but I cant remember the link. Theyre fun

Lad, you really need to consider your posts a little bit more considering you claim to represent 661.

Jamie, welcome to the site.
Welcome to unicycling.

That’s one more of us and one less of them.

Now now, Gildy-poo, don’t make fun of him for typing “would of” instead of “would have”. We all make grammar mistakes occasionally.

BillyTheMountain says: When someone pushes you off you’re unicycle and knocks you on your butt, turn the other cheek.

Here in the USA, you’d be arrested and charged with assault on a minor, cuz you’re 18, and all his friends are witnesses, and it’s so easy to find the “unicycle guy”.

Then you’d be a felon, and you’d never get a good job, so you’d have to resort to a life of crime, and you’d help us fill all the prisons we keep building.

The prison-industrial complex needs more people like you, here in the USA.

Billy

I’m glad you’re OK!

Let’s see, 18 years old, and doing something strange which attracts the attention of children outside a school just as the kids are coming out, and then assaulting one of them. I can see that would look good in these hysterical times.

If you think a dog might bite you, don’t put your hand over the gate to stroke it.

If the kids in your area have shit for brains and no manners, then don’t ride where you know there will be large groups of them.

You can’t control them, but you can control yourself.

i got pushed off by a half drunk guy once. Hurt like a bitch. he tried to justify it by saying his mates were going to give him $5 for it.
i walked away with $5 and some bleeding knuckles

Near southend.

Jamie, look out for eddbmxdude on here, he is from leighton buzzard which I believe is somewhere near milton keynes…

My point wasn’t the grammar.
This guy posts under the 661 ‘banner’, using a 661 avatar, flasely claiming to be sponsored by 661 and then goes about justifying and indeed suggesting personal violence.

Not the kind of thing to do if you’re a ‘sponsored’ rider.

Lol, and with your unicycle I’d hope.

Yeah, Leighton Buzzard is like 15 mins by car.

You rule!
