I think it is noticable that the last 2 BJC’s have been in the south of England and there has, as was said, a cooling off of the acceptance for the unicyclists by the organisers.
I do not think this was intentional but was because they are not used to the impact that the unicyclists make on the juggling groups within the North of England. At the Stockton juggling club is it almost impossible to find anyone juggling at all, they all unicycle (and before you say it I have not influence on them because it is held on a night I can not attend).
By the way… I can juggle. And I have done in on stage to entertain the jugglers… they are generally totally amazed! and laugh!
