Muni Sledding

Hey all. We took the kids sledding at the golf course today and I brought
the Muni along. We only have a couple inches of snow, so it was easy
riding. I rode down a lot of steep hills and weaved between trees. I found
some landscaping to do two foot drops from and dropped into the sand pits
as well. I raced some snowboarders down the hill, but couldn’t keep up. I
found that the snow is great for measuring the distance of hops and jumps.
My worse dismount was when I locked the wheel up on some steep slope and
fell onto my back. With the steepness of the hill, it wasn’t very far to
fall back though. Happy Muni-ing Joe in Iowa

sounds like fun…i just got to ride on roads

I had fun last yeat dragging my daughter (then 4 1/2), as she sat on a
snow saucer, while I rode my unicycle. THere was just the right kind of
packed snow on the ground for it – too much higher or lower and it
wouldn’t have worked. We rode like that for about a half mile, and it was
probably the most fun I’ve ever had on a unicycle.
