Muni racing in Colorado!

I’ve recently received word back that one-wheelers are welcome at the final race of the Four Corners Mt Bike Series in Pagosa Springs, CO on September 22. This is a NORBA sanctioned race so a $5.00 one day license is required in addition to the entry fee. The course is described as 16 miles with little climbing. I live a few hours away but will ride the course in the next week or so. It would ber great if a dozen or so munis could show up and convince them to regularly have a unicycle class at the races. For race info go to www.4cornerscup.com To get ahold of me call Kokopelli Bike and Board 970-565-4408.
Also, a group of us are planning to race the Road Apple Rally on October 5th in Farmington, NM. More info there at www.roadapplerally.com
Hope to not be the only freak out there. Tom Miller

Re: Muni racing in Colorado!

Hi Tom,
Sounds great. I wish I could come out to do the race with you. Last month
several of us did a Norba sanctioned mountain bike ride here in California
and we were also very welcome - they gave us our own category and medals
etc. Write up at http://tinyurl.com/1c1d

Have a great time!
