Thanks for organizing the MUni Ride in Red Wing, MN.
It was fun! The ladies just did the MUni Lite, but I really enjoyed it.
Downhill through the tons of snow was a lot easier than up.
Actually, the biggest hazard I noticed was low tree branches that I forgot
to duck under. Too busy looking down and wondering what sort of craters I
was going to fall into next.
My first attempt! More fun than I thought. And even the MUni Lite course
was a workout. (I’m now One Tired Mom.)

This is one of my primary reasons for wearing a helmet. I hate when the ends
of branches go straight into the air vents…
My secondary reason for the helmet is to keep from getting sunburned.
If I ever fall on my head, my third reason for wearing it will go back to
being the first reason…
Yes, I think everyone had a great time at Red Wing. My legs are still sore from the workout. I can’t wait to get back up there when it’s dry out.
I was also banging my helmet on tree branches. The heavy snow on them made them hang really low. Joe in Iowa
