MUni in Stuff Mag again

Well, Stuff Magazine (offshoot of Maxim) printed an (edited) version of a letter
I sent them about their last months blurb on MUni, complete with a MUni picture.
They somewhat weakly dissed my letter (as expected) but oh well I guess overall
its good, in that more people now know about MUni.

Cheers,

Kris.

I saw this! My dad brought a copy home from work today - he recognized you,
Kris, from the time you were on TV. I noticed it was a bit edited… but
that’s ok. I really liked the post you just wrote about building confidence

  • that should go in On One Wheel or something.

I think the more who know about MUNI the better. Just a couple of days ago, I
put an ad on the local announcements newsgroup for Calgary (where I live) that I
was looking for unicyclists or wannabe unicyclists. I have two more people
interested now who want to buy one and learn to ride plus a television
journalist wants to do a 2 minute segment on Muni and unicycling on Shaw Channel
10. That ad did pretty well.

I suggest that everyone else here find a local advertisement newsgroup to let
more people know of unicycling and possibly find themselves some more riders to
hit the trails with. Heh, it worked for me…

Good luck, Mike
