Two hikers give a big shout out to Wobbling bear at the end. It’s a small world!
They said they met him in either France or Switzerland, and said something about remembering him from “Arches”? I have no idea what/where that is, lol. I’m sure WB will know, or anyone from that area. 
Yes I remember those hikers very well!
in fact I met them in Arches national park (near Moab) and we went all through a long path together!
the gentleman is a (possibly retired?) lawyer (and very fit and fearless)

Yeah they were nice people. I was wondering where arches was. 
You’re right it does, lol! I guess I had the sound up a bit so you could hear the natural sounds…including the tire hitting the ground and water splashing.

It would be a blast to ride with Kris again, this time on his own turf! Last time was CMW '06. And as to the “actor” thing , you know what they say; “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players”. But when doing the more extreme types of riding, it’s 100% business! :)

this post should be in JC … but it is a follow up on how the world is small.
So 2 days ago I entered a small shop near my office in Paris just to buy 3 apples. As I talked to the shop owner I told him that I had a school pal that had the same family name.
So the shop owner told me that some years ago an American entered his shop because he noticed that the owner had the same name as himself.
He described the guy to me: that was him!
I made a short search, sent an email to him (he lives in “twin cities” in the US), he replied … and we are going to meet next june … last time I met him was 42 years ago!
we live in such a small world!
Thats awesome! I’ve had a few instances simialr to that (not near as cool though). Mianly just seeing people randomly throughout the U.S. I know.
