I was just wondering if msn is working, ive just got cable installed and it might be that but the actual hotmail website aint really working for me either.

yeah, its workin fine for me, maybe settings were changed when the cable was put in, and msn cant access the connection anymore?
Mine was being a bit funny earlier; it took a few attempts to actually sign in.
It might just be having an off day…

I aint been able to check me mail, get onto msn, get onto the page to make a new msn, and it just keeps on saying that either my password or username aint valid and then a error number at the end

I got a message around midnight that said messenger would be shut down temporarily for maintenance. It was quite a while before I was able to sign in again; I was getting the same error message as you. It works for me now though.
its ok i sorted it now, had to run regsvr32 softpub.dll for sum reason and it was fine :S
