Moving to Canada for year

Hello unicycle chat,

my name is Finn, I’m 19 years old. I recently finished school in Germany, and because I didn’t really know what to do next, I decided to spend some time (about a year, hopefully…) in Canada on a working holiday. Now that i got all the bureaucratic things dealt with, I’m looking for:
A) Fellow Flat/Street/Trials unicyclist to ride with,
B) Places to sleep in once Unicon is over,
and C) Jobs, to earn some money, so I don’t starve.

I don’t have many contacts in Canada, and I don’t know a lot about the canadian unicycle scene, so if you could help me with any of those three things (If you are a unicyclist living in Canada, for example…), and just wrote me a message, it would be great!
Thanks in advance, and i hope I’ll meet a lot of you at Unicon!

Awesome

Working holiday in Canada will be one of the greatest experiences of your life, I know, I’m doing it now  (although I’ll be staying on a permanent resident visa afterwards ).

For places to sleep I think signing up with couchsurfing.org/ would be a great idea.

Jobs, depending on how long you want to stay in one place, you should be able to find something without too much difficulty. If you intend to stay in a major city ( Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Kingston, etc. ) for a longer time I’d look into Shopify, they have remote jobs that are wicked, I’m working there now. So if you do sign with them mention my name, Jelle.

And lastly if you’re coming to the Kingston area, I’d love to go riding sometime, just hit me up with a PM on the forum
