I thought I’d be clever and mount a cyclometer on my Coker. Seemed like a good
idea until I found the magnet attaches to the spoke. My spokes are too thick for
the magnet. I’m thinking of grinding the groove to be large enough.
Anybody have a good idea. I tried attaching a different magnet with tape but it
only worked when it actually hit the sensor.
I had the same problem with mine. Instead of slotting the spoke through the
sensor, I tied the sensor on next to the junction of two spokes using a tie-wrap
that came with the cyclometer. It’s worked fine for the last 6 months.

Wow, great idea! This is a good example of “out of the box” thinking.
Thanks JD Miller >I tied the sensor on next to the junction of two spokes using a tie-wrap that >came with the cyclometer. It’s worked fine for the last 6 months.
