I am having a hard time free mounting a 5 foot. I can get up to the seat
but I can’t get on. I was wondering if someone could give me some tips.

I don’t climb my 6’er; I jump on. It’s not too different from
free-mounting a Coker if you use a jumping technique (there are other
ways to get on a Coker, but I usually jump or use a walking mount). If
you are interested in a jump mount, LMK and I’ll give you some more
pointers. It requires some leg strength, a bit of coordination, and it
helps to be tall enough.

For me it was mental. You have to let go of the seat to be able to sit
down correctly. Easier said than done though.
Ben,
Practice, practice, practice!
