Mountain Mayhem 24 hour race

Following last years efferts by Team Muni in The Red Bull Mountain Mayhem 24
hour race, are there any other riders interested in taking part this year.

The dates are June 23-24 2001 , the venue is some where in the Midlands UK

Teams should consist of 5 people of mixed sexes ages 18 or over . Its a giant
relay race which each lap only 10 miles of mixed terrain, mainly off road on
tracks and paths .

Unicycle teams will be welcomed by the organisers with open arms, Camping is
free, they give each team free Red bull and other sponsered goodies. I’m not
just looking for fully formed teams, but for indiviuals who might want to join a
unicycle team . Please get in touch if your interested and lets try and get more
than one team together this year.

For a report on last years team muni you could take a look at

http://www.uk.unicyclist.com/custom.html ( has a picture, but the same text)

Hope to hear from some of you , I’ve already got one team more or less
sorted…

Only 10 miles, eh? Well, that’s OK then. BTW, I heard last year’s course was
10.6 miles, actually.

If anybody’s interested in getting a really slow team together, I’d be up for
it. I must’ve ridden a couple of miles around Sandwell Park last year looking
for Team Muni. That’s my training done then…
