Re: Motorcycle and car … don’t mix

Maybe they don’t mix, but somebody made a serious attempt.

Klaas Bil

bail… bail… I hope the guy bailed.

bad stuff. I hope I’m not in either situation.

by the looks of it…they do. And the motorcycle won.

OMG :astonished: …details details…

Given the speed they must have been travelling at to do that damage I’d say that if they bailed you’d see a similar dint to the side of the bike on the car. They didn’t have time to brake or swerve so I very much doubt they bailed successfully (or at all).

Having ‘hit’ a few cars…
(my experience)

The bike rider likely went over the top of the car.
(what he hit after being airborne is another Q)

When a rider has enough time, they lift a leg and lay the bike down.
(after an attempt at brakeing)

Seing the bike still vertical, leads me to believe he went over the top.

I REALLY hope the guy in the bike bailed, but HAHA! I can’t belive a motorcycle beat that geo/hyundai looking thing! You might as well be ridding a motorcycle if you in one of those little things, the funny part is the bike looks like it can still start.

Somehow I don’t think ‘beat’ is quite the right word…

Am I the only one that thinks that the car was parked? or at least stopped when the bike hit it.

TUCK AND ROLL!

I’m thinking the bike T-boned the car when the car pulled out onto the road from a side street. The bike could have been going way way too fast. The car either didn’t even see the bike or completely misjudged its speed. The car pulls out, the bike T-bones the car. Someone comes by and takes a picture of the result.

To me, it looks like the car impacted something in the front in addition to the bike. It’s possible (I think) that the front end damage occurred as a result of the side impact of the motorcycle, but (to me) it looks too symmetrical, as if it rear ended another car.

Anyone know if this pic is actually real? It seems strange that the bike would be able to impale a car like that and stay in it.
