Just like to say how much I enjoyed Mostyn Mayhem! It was my first time there (last year I was too busy…).
Met loads of (more) great people (Dez and Gemma/Jim etc) and catch up with everyone else I aint seen in a while!
Great hills on the pub crawl to get you thirsty (shame it was the wrong hill!:p) But gliding back down was great!!!
Mike H had a hub, which had not been braised properly, and so the flanges were actually free from the hub itself. This was great fun (especially when roger thought it was a ‘normal uni’ and tried to demo the rules of Gladiators on it!)
Also, a really big well done to Gemma. She only learnt about 3 weeks ago, and is GREAT! She didnt want to come on the MUni riding incase she slowed everyone down… hehehe, she was the in the lead most of the time on Dez’s 20", (while quite a few people were on Cokers too)!!! Well Done,
Thanx to Ali and Roger (‘The Boss Mob’) and everyone else!
well i might see you both at at least one of those events (both if i can persuade the driver;) . )
they are very far away though im in leicester, seems to be the furthest away from most things, apart from the nuneaton unicycling day my club is organising:D
do you know if there are any kidderminster unimeets on the way? hope so they’re great:D
For the people having problems, I wonder what version of DivX they have installed. If they have an old version of DivX installed maybe updating to the newest version (5.0.5) will fix the problem.
There are some known issues with DivX that will cause “frozen frames” where the video will stop playing. I think the newest version of the player/encoder addresses those problems.
For anyone downloading the DivX codec, DivX reorganized their download page to make the links to the Pro version more prominent. The Pro version is costs money or is adware supported. The free version with no adware is available at the link titled “Download the DivX Codec/Player Bundle”. That version is free and has no adware.
