Most Views

in the spirit of strangely pointless things to do with an online forum site, i’m hereby granting Rowan’s wish.

please do not reply to this thread at any stage
just pop in once a day to make sure your fellow unicyclists is exactly as strangely off-beat as u allways thought they were
if everybody manages to NOT reply, yet visit very often to watch nobody replying, we could just have the thread with the most views
ever

:sunglasses:

Whoops someone just threw me in here… :astonished:

Shock horror, a spanner in the works!

I knew it wouldn’t be long before “someone” gave in to temptation. Tsk tsk Monkey wrench, oh well I guess you just opened the flood gates. Here come the replies…

now this thread will eventually have something to talk about. in which case, it won’t be “most views” anymore, but “most views of a thread about a certain topic”, or “most views of a thread about random topics” like most replies.

Hence fourth, this thread will be about the movies you have viewed most. Personally, mine would have to be the greatest movie of all times: The Princess Bride, followed by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

I know none of you will have anything negative to say about either one of these fine movies, so lets hear about what you guys, and girls, watch.

Daniel

my favorite movie is definitely the texas chainsaw massacre, one of the few movies i actually own.

however, if you’re going for most views, which you are, i watched the breakfast club like five times in a few days once.

other then that, i rarely watch movies, because most of them offer nothing that would make me want to watch them beyond trivial entertainment. on that note, the first two die hard movies are great.

but now since i’ve posted, i am an official contributor to the thing i warned would happen, and i actually provoked it as well. though i don’t really care, and if we were to talk about good movies i’d have to say that “best views” would have suited this better.

my movie

my best movie must be fight club

at Freddy Vs. Jason i saw a preveiw for a remake coming out soon of that.

Well… A Life Less Ordinary is my favourite movie, but it’s not the one I’ve watched most. I dunno what that is…

Phil

Universe, definately Universe. In fact I think I’m gonna need a new copy soon, mine’s starting to look a little fuzzy.

the texas chainsaw massacre being unnoficially my favorite movie, i’ve heard about that remake. it’s obviously going to be stupid and nowhere near the unmitigated super quality of the original, but i’m going to go see it anyway. at the very least i’ll get to watch people being mutilated and dying.

mines got to be Samurai Jack (the movie, the very first episode)
than there’s Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, of course.

Oooo! Army of Darkness in particular is a very fine movie indeed. Such elegance and sophisticated humour!

Clatu… verata… ncoughcough!

A very good choice.

Phil

I must say that this thread is much better then the most replies thread.

Re: Shock horror, a spanner in the works!

I have to say that the thread just isn’t as much FUN for me any more. I just refreshed through 70 cycles or so to bring us up to 2000 views, but I’m probably going to drop now, go find a new useless thread to support.

Thanks Monkey Wrench…thanks for everything.

Re: Most Views

drumroll, please

I think we need to inspect this thread’s punch cards for hanging chads.

Well I’m glad to see I could check out for a while and others would take up the slack. Congratulations to all you “refreshing” contributors…

screw you dainnon!!

Re: Most Views

The drumroll needs to keep going until there is significantly more views than on the “Most replies thread”, otherwise it will be overtaken again soon after the drums stop rolling.
