I wonder what the most misspelled word is here in the forums. My guess is the word, “definitely”

Their are a lot of words that are spelled write but used incorrectly. It happens all to often.
Using your instead of you’re is a common mistake.
You forgot my all-time favorite…alot.
But, getting back to the original intent of the thread, I wonder if there’s a way to tabulate misspellings. It’s beyond the capabilities of my software. Klaas, any ideas?

Try a forum search for “definitely”. You get zero hits. 
There must be a problem with the search index. There should definitely be some hits on definitely.
This might be a tall order. I just did a search on the spelling “definately” and came up with entries on 836 posts.
I did a search on “trails,” a common mispelling of the word, “trials,” and got 1700+ hits. I win.
But, although you intended to search for a misspelling of the word trials, your search results also included hits for the correctly spelled word trails when used in its correct context.
That brings up a question. When the word trails is used instead of correctly using the word trials, it’s a misspelling. But is it also a grammatical error? I don’t think it is. I guess I’d have to consider it a pure spelling error even though it’s a legitimate spelling of another word.

Ah, but that’s where the dry wit comes in.
Anyways, I have been checking my spelling and grammar. You’ll note that my quotes above were correctly done, which is very not normal, since that is the one thing I usually ignore.
