More then one tyre?

how many of you have more then one tyre per unicycle unless you snow riding this seems pointless
Ben

Until recently I had two tyres for the muni, the knobbly contra for off-road and the fireball for A to B. Now the Fireball sits on its own uni.

More recently the 29er has two tyres, again a knobbly for off-road and a road tyre.

I think this is fairly common, having on- and off-road tyres for one uni.

Phil

So how long until you decide that spare tyre and a 2 left pedals justify building another 29er? I mean, all that time changing a tyre. It’s just keeping the pattern going.

And I think I have 4 tyres for my muni, 2 gazz 24 x 2.6 bought as a pair, with one on the uni, a worn halo ception should I want a semi-slick, and the original nimbus 2 tyre. Having said that, I’ve never actually changed tyres for a ride.

John

I have 5 tires.
How else can one find out which one is the “best?”

by asking the crazy nuts at the rec.unicycling forum who have tried all 5

puts fingers in ears Shut it shut it shut it shut it! The garage isn’t big enough for another unicycle…

Phil

I hear a construction project in the works!

sell the car then. Isn’t that obvious?

Joe

Tha’ts a bit rash… do it.

OR, start moving the unis in the house.

On the tire question, I have a few for each uni. Well, it’s more like I have a few extra tires that will fit on my unis. I don’t normal switch unless I have a very good reason. One such reason is “I want to” or “I’m not riding well today, it must be the tire”. Mostly, they are just old tires with enough life in them that I don’t want to throw them away, but bad enough that I don’t want to ride it.

Something like that.

I found hooks in the garage roof solved the space issue…

The car is outside already! The unicycles hang on the wall, but there’s no spare wall left…

Phil

i i did not think about the fact you might have a road tyre but yeah i can see why you would have 2 now. lol phil has no space i just have not got any money!!!
