To all worldwebserver clients and net users:
Just to let everyone know, there are a couple of outages coming up this
week and later this month, that could happen at any time:
-
constitution.worldwebserver.com: (this server) is being relocated to a
new network in the same building, and the IP address will become
1.1.1.1. This change will effect all domains operating on
ns1.worldwebserver.com including email server, news, and httpd.
This move is imminent, so please be prepared for it to happen at
any time. The outage shouldn’t last more than an hour or two,
however, DNS for each user’s domain must be updated to the new
IP address. This may take a little time. This outage will occur
within the next 48-72 hours. -
independence.worldwebserver: although this server has been
successfully moved to the new IP address, the operating system, MySQL,
PHP, and Apache will all be upgraded to the latest versions
immediately. User data, including logs, databases, and mail will be
preserved. This will probably happen within 24 hours. -
constitution.worldwebserver.com: within the next 30 days this server
will receive a hardware upgrade, new mainboard/cpu/ and a significant
ram upgrade. This outage will take approximately 1 hour, there should
be advance notice of this outage.
