More on Unicycling in the World Games

P.S. I just found the English website at

Hi,

Do you all know about the World Games, a major “competitor” to the Olympic
Games? The next games will be held in the north of Japan, Akita Prefecture, in
August 2001. Details – in Japanese – are here:

We are considering the possibility of adding unicycling to the games, but I’m
not sure if we are qualified. I will be takling to the Japanese officials
next week.

Any input is welcome. This is, I think, a step in the right direction toward our
Olympic goal.

Sounds like definitely a worthy venture for IUF. I think they will want to see
video. Too bad IUF doesn’t have any videos of its own. A nice UNICON video would
be a good seller, I think…
