Ok, as if you haven’t had enough and are curious to know… I went to a friends
house today, plopped in the post into a vise and got out a pipe cutter (thanks
for the suggestion!) cut off about an inch of the post and filed it off.
I can now reach the pedals!
I just spent about 20 minutes trying to mount it and I’m getting rather
amazingly better at it. But you guys are right the post clamp it comes with is
nasty, the seat will 95% of the time twist away. I did manage to get between a
doorway and moved back and forth like an inch though before having to hop off.
But you guys are all right, there IS something different the moment you get up
on that seat the first time.
