Yippppeeee, new records for my girls. They continue to be excited and fast learning students. We went to the city park on my lunch time and practiced riding on a walking trail for 1 hour today. Then, after dinner tonight, we went out and rode 1 1/2 hours more. I had to drag them inside!
The 8 year old beat her old record of 204 feet, doing a ride of 364 feet. She rode 6 or 7 times for more than 250 feet. But the thing that blew me away was she rode up two really long hills. The last hill was 150 feet long, it makes my quads burn. Well, she rode right up it. She is such a cute little girl, I wish I had a digital camera to share their pictures.
The ll year old beat her old record of 84 feet a number of times. Her longest ride was one of 118 feet. She continues to amaze me by doing really good free mounts. Tonight, she did at least three free mounts where she then rode 10 feet or more.
It feels so great to have two of my daughters learning to ride. Well, that’s the update on my girls. --chirokid–
