A thread before reminded me of the monkee’s vide where they all rode unicycles side by each. It looked like there were 2 training wheels on the back of each (making them tricyles)
I am extremely interested in the unicycles (tricycles) ridden in the above-mentioned Monkee’s video. Does anyone know the whereabouts of a picture of these vehicles?
“Head”, the Monkees movie (co-written by Jack Nicholson, egad!)
mind you, #1&2 are not mutually exclusive considering the TV show was just a bunch of sketches with music videos shoehorned in between.
Anyway, if you could narrow it down, that might help. I just went ahead and bumped “Head” up to #1 in my Netflix rental queue, so I should see it in a few weeks. I’ll let you know if there are any uni-things.
I believe it was a video clip shown on a commercial that was advertising a new 60’s collection. I’m not positive though. I’m not familiar too well with the Monkee’s work, so I couldn’t even tell you what song it was. Or what 60’s collection.
Those were not unicycles… they were more like skate-bikes with a cool mag
wheel. There was an episode in the '60’s T.V. show where they rode them.
I have a few Monkee’s collector cards (like hockey cards) where they are
pictured on them. I will look for them and post a picture.

Hah, go figure… I have some of those monkeys cards too that show the unis from the bubble gum way back, when. I had them before our move in February, but not sure where they ended up.
I don’t have access to a scanner any more since school finished, though.
