money

I was wondering what al ways can a 14 year old boy make money. I am saving up for a unicycle and i need some money.

once you can ride, there is always street performing! theres a guy in savannah who makes his entire income off 3 shows a day on weekends. if you can do any combination of face painting, juggleing, balloon animals, entertaining… you could be a clown for kids b-day parties (actually, that could get you a new kh in about 5 gigs.) heck, just set out a hat wherever you practice. i got a $10 from a drunk guy who was just amazed that i could hop on one wheel. i’m thinking about using that clown idea though, that could be good, easy money.

As much as I hate the stereotype of unicycle=clown, I second everything Josh is saying. Use your unique talent to your advantage!

I think that would be awesome i am going to do some of them. i think the clown on is good because i love clowns and the circus plus everyone i know tells me i should join the circus.

Buy candy and gum at some discount store and bring them to school to sell for profit.

That’s what I did 25 years ago.

i got a job at a bike shop when i was 13

Sell anything you aren’t using on Ebay. You would be surprised what people will buy!

On a similar note, I got a job as a busboy as a 14 year old, a position I still hold today for an extra cash flow (along with washing dishes and cooking as well - I’m a multitasker. :sunglasses: ).

No, you’re a slave
Do you get an alowance?

At your age, I mowed lawns and shoveled driveways. That was a good way to make money and get some exercise.

Or if you don’t like exercise, you could sell plasma.

or…nevermind

You could get a group of friends and hold “fund raisers” outside home depo, or whatever hardware stores there are where you live. Sausage sizzles in the right place can bring in a few hundred dollars.

Not sure how close you are to the country but farmers are always looking for help. When I was 14 I was doing barn chores, shoveling manure, picking corn, and doing hay for extra money.

Why would I get an allowance? I have a job…

I tried to sell pencil insurance. I didn’t get rich.

not you, lucky8

When I was 14 I didn’t get an allowance and still had a list of chores to do.

It’s not about being a slave it’s about contributing to a family. Who do you think pays for your food, clothes, place to live, etc…

oh my friggin god
the first part, about being a slave, was directed at Matt, because he does everything at work
the second part, the question, was directed at lucky8
