mmorpgs

Anyone play fallensword, runescape, tibia, lastchaos, endless-online?

I’m not a huge F2P MMO fan…if I’m gonna invest my time and energy into a game like that, I want it to be top-notch. I’ve played EQ, FFXI, and WoW, at least a couple years on each. I’ve tried some F2P games like ROSE Online, Runescape, MapleStory, etc. and they were fun distractions for maybe a week or two but I could never get serious with them.

Aah.

People join fallensword. look on my sig.

I play runescape.

JC is my favorite MMORPG.

RL is mine.

(as in Real Life)

I don’t know, man. RL requires so much work and responsibilty to keep from leveling down. :stuck_out_tongue:

RL isn’t worth the monthly fee. :frowning:

I read through part of that thinking it was an actual game. Untill I saw the pictures.

Yeah,. and I heard there are no spawn points in Rl.

What happens if I lag out there?

You heard wrong. Thing is, you don’t ever want to visit your spawn point again, once you’ve spawned.

I used to play The Matrix Online. Awesome game, but didn’t want to keep forking out about $17/mo for it.

Does anybody like dofus?

www.dofus.com

Its a online strategy style fighting game with silly graphics and probably some of the funniest hurmor in the game world.

I never liked dofus, it hasn’t got a smooth gameplay. I played runescape for about 4 years. reached lvl 109 then quitted. Started playing Silkroad online afterwards. Quitted because of the bad servers. Now i ride my unicycle in my free time haha :P.

Dofus has a much smother gameplay now, you should try it. Lots more items, interface updates. All kinds of stuff.

Good job.

The problem with 99% of all MMOs is that they are grind games. Kill these guys, collect these items by killing these guys, join your friends and kill these guys, explore this tree and kill those guys. Even WoW is like that, and you have to pay for that, which is horrible. Many games are exactly like WoW, graphics, content, grinding, and they are free.

Im glad I stopped playing all of them.

Although there is grind in every mmorpg, dofus is actaully different. The game is mostly based of your equipment strategy and leveling strategy. Its very fun.
Its one of those games where theres tons of secrets people dont know about, unknown item recipes. All kinds of fun stuff, you should play jerrick, i need a unicycle buddy to play with =)

Im still biter, how I wasted whole week of my summer whit runescape.

I really sugest not to play any mmorgps.
Meet new people, ride your uni or just take a walk.
And if you really want to role play do it IRL.

This way you really enjoy much more for your life.

Yeah, I used to play runsescape alot with my friends. I was really good at the whole “buy low, sell high” part, so a made a boatload of money while i was still a noob (my friends were jealous :p) I got up to lvl 87 overall, but then it hit me that the whole thing was pretty pointless. Add that to the fact that my friends had slowly started quitting, and I decided to quit too. So I picked up unicycling and increased my other outdoor activities to make up for the hole it had left. And I’ve never looked back.
