Miyata Mountain Unicycle

Check out the new Miyata MUni. I don’t think Kris has much to worry about.
36,800 yen/$477 CDN/$304 US.

It’s got a sloping crown, Miata seat with a rail, the puke green
coloured seat is gone, replaced by grey, 26x2.0 tire, 6" or 6.5"
aluminum cranks. An optional suspension seat is 5,500 yen/$71 CDN/$46
US. No info on the rim.

It doesn’t look like a 2.6" wide tire will fit on, much less a 3.0". In
the photo the seat post seems to be not adjusted properly, too long and
ready to poke into the top of the tire. The bearing holders look weak for
MUni, but who knows?

As they say themselves, “MIYATA is Mountain Unicycle that all the energies
were given and which was completed.” I would like to examine more closely
their rail setup for the seat.

And it proudly specifies an “english” valve (a.k.a. Woods). Now who’s
familiar with the phrase “slow leak”? Yuck!

Have fun!
