Miyata..is it worth the money?

im thinking about buying my first unicycle and cannot make up my mind
between either the XL or the delux semcycle (24") or the standard or delux
miyata (24")…

is the miyata worth the extra money compared to the semcycle? are either of
these UNIs good for a beginner? or should i buy something a little less costly?

I’ve never used a Sem, although I’ve heard they are great. I have a 20" Miyata,
and have been riding about 4 months. I like it a lot. I tried to learn on a
cheap $30 mail order unicycle (I hate calling it that). All I can say is that
get something that is ridable. Anything under $100 new is going to be junk. I
don’t know what you were saying the Sem being more expensive than the Miyata…
My Miyata was $180 (maybe your not in the USA, I forget it makes a difference).
The sem’s were more like $220. Anyhow, good luck. -John

I have had my miyata for about 10 years now and it is still rolling. i love
it.
