Hey all, Just curious is there anybody who’s considered haveing a MUni
weekend in British Columbia, we have some really great trails up here and
I haven’t heard much about any organized rides in this area. If anybody

It has been talked about informally on several occasions. Likely a few
people will come up here after UNICON next year, anyway. As usual, the
main issue is not the trails, it’s having someone with the time to
organize a MUni weekend.

Cheers,

Kris.

PS where in BC do you live?

Hey, maybe you can start with that. For whoever’s not too tired from
back-to-back giant unicycle conventions, host a day or two of MUni at the
North Shore. You could call it the North Shore or Vancouver MUni Weekend
(if it’s on a weekend).

The organization part is basically providing information on how to get
there, where to stay, and setting up rides for various ability levels. For
North Shore, you can probably say “experts only” if you want, and people
will understand. In fact, A rider of about any level could have done most
of the riding I did the one time I was there, and it was still worth it.
If you can’t ride, watch.

Doing it after the two conventions will have the advantage of an audience
that will never be there again (unless there’s another UNICON in the
area), so I hope you can set something up, even if it’s very informal.
Future ones will have a more focused (and less tired) crowd, but you’ll
never again have access to such a diverse group.
