I need to get more memory (ram) for my pc. I currently only have 64.0mb of
memory. My pc is a GATEWAY model PERFORMANCE 500. Does anyone have any
suggestions that will be compatible. I don’t know how this works. Of course I am
going to call the gateway and see whats up, but I’m also gonna look around on
the web too.

All I know is I need more memory. I’m at 64 and around 120 something would be
nice. So about 56 more mb or however that works. I’m pretty sure you can only
buy sticks of memory of certain mb.

When I just ordered my new PC33 SDRAM memory from Dartek, they actually called
to make sure it was not for a Gateway because it was not returnable and the CSR
said,“This will not work in a Gateway.” I suggest calling Gateway. I bet you
have to go through an authorized Gateway service agent BTW, I got 256 meg from
Dartek for $99. http://dartek.com . Great service and nice prices.

if you plan on doing overclocking, id go with muskin.com ram, its more
expensive, but pc150 is better on faster bus, obviously…
but if you just want ram, id go with crucial because its cheap, free shipping,
and they have a nice way to pick out what you need even if you dont know what
you are doing.
