Meet the Fockers...

…focking socked.

Alot of movies these days get way over hyped and whatnot, I hate it.

I know I am going to get hailed on for saing this but:

Napoleon Dynamite sucked too… it’s not funny at all. I would reather stick my hand in a blender and turn it on the watch that movie again. All of my friends have it. I have to watch it almoste everytime I visit them or they visit me. I hate it.

Hail Catboy, sometime speaker of truth.

catboy… hhhhuuu… i expected more out of you… you should be ashemd Napolean Dynomite was the best peice of film coming out of 2004 you my good man should be ashamed…

POW

Not what I was expecting, but thanks.

My point exactly.

How crap like ND can be famed for being the best movie of '04 makes me sick. It’s just the stupid the 80’s/dorkiness are trendy fad that everyone seems to be into. Most of these kids weren’t even alive in the 80’s…

While I disagree with you Catboy I can see why you hate it. The people that like it have a sick twisted mind. It’s apparant you don’t Catboy. Which is fine. Either way people that saw the movie either hated it or loved it. i loved it.

DANG IT!!!

I thought Meet the Fockers was okay, but nothing special. The first one was much better.
As for Napoleon Dynamite, I agree with Worminton. It was a fairly stupid movie, but not stupid in the same way Dodgeball or Anchorman was stupid. So I liked Napoleon Dynamite, but not those other two.

oh come one the lance armstrong cameo in dodgeball was classic.

Re: Meet the Fockers…

I’m frankly surprised you went to see the Focker. Did you lose a bet or something?

How can you not like Dodge Ball?!!? It was awesome. Though it was totally different than what Ben Stiller usually does. Most of the time he plays a guy always getting pushed around and kinda has a low self esteem. In Dodge Ball he was totally opposite. Which might be why people didn’t like it. Though i still think Ben Stiller’s best part ever was in Happy Gilmore.

Re: Meet the Fockers…

everyone tried to focking tell you it did and despite the reviews, you went to focking see it anyway?

fockers sucking is no surprise. napoleon got a huge cult following which kinda cheeses me off. If you don’t like it, you don’t “get” it. Its not that funny, but like many movies gets better the more you watch it. It had this nerdy/dorky/crazy thing to it that reminded me a lot of high school, and was awesome. I can see how you might not like it. there’s not really any middle ground on it. you either understand/identify with it and like it or think its stupid. Now dodgeball was amazing.

Re: Re: Meet the Fockers…

You might say that.

Ben Stiller’s best movie part was in Mystery Men. But by far, and in my opinion I mean way far, his best work ever was on Saturday Night Live when he did a spoof of the “Werewolves of London” scene from the brilliant film “The Color of Money”. Instead of shooting pool he was bowling. And he did Cruise perfectly down to every little mannerism. I peed my pants laughing so hard. (No, I was not under the influence of anything but good comedy). But by and large he’s a big step down from his parents. Dodgeball blew, too.

xxx

Yeah, I loved Mystery Men. Most people seemed to hate it, for some reason, but I thought it was great…
I haven’t seen him on Saturday Night Live, but probably just because I’m a youngun so I haven’t really seen any /good/ SNL’s…

Yeah, you weren’t born when that bit appeared.

I am amazed that we haven’t gotten a bashing from at least one person that goes like:

napolien dynomit was awsum! u suk if you dun like it u r all dum if you tink it was not teh bestest movie evrrr. it is a marstepeace. naplien dynomite is cool.

Give it time.
