Does anyone know if/where the strongest market for unicycles are? I have been
riding unicycles for 20yrs on and off. It has potential in the extreme sports
area. Does anyone have any info on this area of the sport? John Rowland

The strongest market is Japan, but I don’t think that’s what you had in mind.
Unicycling is part of the phys. ed/recreation programs at literally thousands of
schools there! Their main unicycle conventions have about 1000 riders in
attendance.

this is great just found it in the archive saying about extreme sports unicycling?? will it ever catch on … ha i think it did heheh
The guy’s first post dates from just after the second MUni Weekend (California). We were ahead of him in terms of getting the word out. Not sure if he ever did anything with selling unicycles since we don’t know who he was. Who knows, maybe it was John Drummond? Unicycle.com started in 1999.
