We had a custom arrangement of Fat Bottomed Girls that was done by one of the music majors. I don’t know where you could manage to find a marching band arrangement off the shelf. Fun song though. A good drum part, the trumpets got to blare, and a bouncy tuba part.
I’ll have to do some thinking to try to remember good marching band marches. Marching band was so long ago that I can’t remember what we used to play (other than Fat Bottomed Girls and the fight song).
We had an entrance where we all lined up in a box. The first row would march out then the second and so on. Each person would have to get in step and position to spell part of a letter. We spelled OSU and BEAVERS while marching across the field. But I can’t remember the details cause it’s been sooooo long ago.

Who was the fight song written by? I only know one song by that name, and I’m sure that isn’t the one you mean.
Our homecoming is this weekend. One of the members of the drumline is on the soccer team. He revealed in practice last night that the drumline has some special stuff planned like marching up into the stands. Don’t know much more than that.
