This is excellent article about Sem’s record breaking ride on a 35m
(115 foot) unicycle performed on Thursday, January 30, 2004.
This is a “must read” article for all unicyclists and anyone remotely
interested in unicycling!

It’s a very nice article. I just find it interesting they didn’t have a picture of the cycle in it.

Where were the references to the circus, or to clowns? Why didn’t he call it a bike? There was something wrong with that reporter.

What length of cranks? Splined or tapered? We must be told.

official Guinness record! Congratulations Sem!
Sem’s ride will probably be listed in the 2005 book of records.

The tallest uni (and only giraffe) I’ve ever ridden was 10 foot tall.
I had to climb on top of a van to mount.
The hardest part … having the guts to dismount …
(my feet hit the asphalt so hard … ouch)
after thinking for awhile …
I think it was actually closer to 12 foot 
thats so sweeet! too bad the video isnt bigger 
and i thought the 10ft i rode was bad…
