Oh yeah, supposedly it happens more than once.
We have a young buck who comes in our yard and eats our shrubs. I chased it off the other day, and got within 20-30 feet of him. Fourtanatly, we dont have any low to the ground windows. 
Too bad he didn’t videotape it…that would be a good movie.

I’ve actually seen one of these in the northern Virginia mountains in 1983. Friends of mine took a female deer with antlers. Of course we didn’t know it was a doe at first look. Haven’t seen one since.
Wait, he left the bedroom, to call for someone to phone the police, and then returned to fight the deer? Why didn’t he just wait? I mean what was the deer going to do that was worse than the walls being splattered with blood? I’d better take note, the Magdalen deer park is opposite my window.
I dunno. My best guess is he didn’t want it to hurt his daughter? Maybe…
Are the deer over there the same size/kind as the whitetail deer over here?
At that point it was in the Master Bedroom, of course i can understand the intial confrontation but after you’ve got the thing shut in a room on it’s own, damn well leave it there.
