For the second time I’ve not unicycled alone. Alan came over and we spent the afternoon going all over the hills looking for tracks to ride down. Absolutely great fun… I certainly managed to do things I didn’t think I could do.
It was also the first time I’d used my new muni “in anger”… and it performed marvellously.
It was also the first time I’d been able to take a camera, so I shall finish with a URL where you can get your daily fill of pictures of this and that.
Phil, just me
Re: Malvern Hills - This Time In Colour!
Nice pics, Phil. You succeeded in making me look like
I can ride a unicycle - no mean feat.
One of the highlights of the day for me was when we came
across a downhill biker. It was clear he was having problems
as he had removed the front wheel from his bike. As we
approached I could not resist calling out “You’ve only got one
wheel!” ;-). I don’t think he was that impressed by the irony.
The views were excellent, the sun was making up for lost time,
and most of the pedestrians made sensible comments. Lots of
nice wide, bumpy tracks, too. The only downside was that the pub
at the top was conspicuous by its absence.
