Re: Making your own juggling equipment

Search the rec.juggling archives on the IJDb or using google. There have been instructions posted on making your own clubs using everything from newspaper to plastic soda bottles; making your own rola bola; making your own stilts; cigar boxes; hats for manipulation, etc.

And if you’re too lazy, post on rec.juggling with a list of the things you want to make. You’ll be excoriated for being too lazy to search them out yourself, but various people will provide you the answers eventually.

Oh crap make:

stilts
stilts
a hat
newspaper juggling clubs
cigar boxes
rola bola

Thanks very much, I’ll have a search too.

Here are the best instructions I’ve seen…

I’m experimenting with ultraleather also, a fabric that Michael Fergeson(sp?) uses to make his balls from http://www.fergieprops.com . I ordered my ultraleather from http://www.ultrastyledesigns.com/ . It is an excelent fabric.

Good luck!

Sorry didn’t realize you already knew about barnsey bags… anyway, ultraleather is a great fabric.

Also if you are intereseted at all…

Juggling torch construction… torches are great I have a set half constructed… they’re going to turn out rather nice.

Oh right thanks, torches are a little over my depth, I have only just started clubs and still can’t do them. I don’t know if I’d be allwoed to juggle fire anyway.
